Visualizer – Compare Mode

Long gone are the days of having to use your imagination in hopes that the flooring or area rug you like will look good in your room. That’s the best part about living in the future - we don’t need to imagine it, when we can see it! Now you can not only see what your ideal flooring would look like from the comfort of your couch, but you can also compare different types of flooring.

It’s pretty nifty and we’re here to provide you with a crash course on how to use it.

  1. You can either “Launch Visualizer” using the link in the top right of the menu at the top of every page, or click the “see in my room” button on almost any product page.
  1. Simply click either link and it’ll load right up.
Click on "Launch Visualizer" on the home page.
  1. From here you’ll see two options:
    • One is to upload your own photo of the room you would like to use.
    • The second is to use one of the room visualizations provided.

Now, we’d highly recommend using a photo of your own room so you can see exactly what it’ll look like in your home, but the stock photos we have will give you a good idea if you don’t have one handy.

  1. At the top you will see “Compare”. Click on this.
Choose the type of flooring you would like to Visualize.
  1. Once you’ve clicked on it, you can choose the type of flooring you would like to compare against. Filter down by type of flooring and a myriad of other options.
Once in compare mode you can drag the slider back and forth to see how the two different types of flooring compare.

Et voila! Have fun trying out all the different options and when you’re ready you can request a quote, go to the product page, or save and share your findings.
